On November 26, 2023, we were honored to host Ambassador Stian Christensen of the Royal Norwegian Embassy, along with the Norfund Team, at our facilities in Ethiopia. The visit started at ZAK Ethiopia Manufacturing and Trading PLC located in Kality, where our 555 Home Care and Aura Beauty Soap brands are produced.
Then the visit continued to the town of Dukem where our second Edible oil Refinery plant Articraft Industries PLC is located. In this plant is where we are building the state-of-the-art Solvent Extraction Plant which will start operation soon. They were impressed by how fast the project was going.
Lastly, We went to a town called Koka just outside Mojo, where our agricultural development project is located, the Desa Sunflower Farm. This farm is one of the many contractual farms we have currently for our backward integration project.
Overall the Visit was a success as our guests were very impressed by the quality of the sites visited as well as readiness and professionalism of the team.
