We are thrilled and honored to host HE Bjørg Sandkjær Norwegian State Secretary, HE Elnor Gasanov Norwegian Deputy Ambassador in Ethiopia and Mrs. Tsehay Hailemichael Senior Program Advisor, Mr. William Nyaoke Regional Director East Africa, Norfund at our SEP and Tena oil refinery plant. This visit provided an excellent opportunity to showcase our manufacturing facilities, including the state-of-the-art Solvent Extraction Plant currently under construction, and to discuss the latest advancements in our vertical integration project.
Samanu is establishing a cutting-edge Solvent Extraction Plant (SEP) and actively working on agricultural development to build a sunflower supply base in Ethiopia. This initiative not only supports the growth of Tena sunflower oil but also strengthens local farmers and impacts the Ethiopian economy by reducing the need to import sunflower crude oil. Samanu is committed to promoting a fully localized edible oil value chain, empowering local farmers, and enhancing their livelihoods.
